Ella & The Bossa Beat is a dynamic international father-daughter duo featuring 25-year-old singer/pianist Ella, hailed as a 'new rising star of the Jazz generation,' alongside Grammy-nominated drummer Magrus Borges, known for his work with legends like Astrud Gilberto, Bebel Gilberto and Grace Jones. Their sound blends Jazz Soul with Brazilian Jazz influences.
In 2020, they debuted with their album “My Remedy,” which jazz and pop enthusiasts globally. Their second album, “In the Moment,” released in 2022, showcases all original compositions and has gained popularity among jazz, Brazilian jazz and soul listeners, achieving #8 on the national Top 30 Latin charts and #15 on the national Top 50 Jazz album charts. The duo has earned accolades from top jazz publications like JAZZIZ and local outlets such as Orlando Weekly for their artistry and sophistication showcased in 'In the Moment' and their third studio album 'Paradise', released in 2024.
As they perform worldwide, Ella & The Bossa Beat collaborates with international artists, including Toco, under the Italian record label Schema Records. Their single "Areia" has surpassed 200k streams on Spotify, and they are currently working on their fourth album, set to be released in 2026.
